HARVESTING TOOLS

Tools fit one of four field slots — pick, hatchet, sickle, fishing rod — except the Hide Bucket, which is carried on hand. The harvest multiplier is the core of the yield maths.

THE MULTIPLIER MODEL

Tool: M_tool = harvest_bonus (raised further by blueprint quality) Dino: M_dino = 1 + B_species + 0.005 x attack_power

Blueprints? push tools higher. Crafted tools scale by quality tier:

QualityBonus range
Uncommon×1.10 – ×1.50
Rare×1.60 – ×2.00
Epic×2.10 – ×2.50
Pioneer×2.60 – ×3.30 (uncapped by design)

WHICH DINOSAURS GATHER

A dinosaur gathers only the resources? its species? is configured for, using one specific move it must have unlocked. The species bonus B is fixed; the rest comes from its attack power, so a dinosaur keeps scaling as you invest in it.

Meat and Hide are listed for Carnotaurus and Allosaurus but no meat/hide nodes? exist yet — those gather configs are dormant. Hide can still be gathered from normal nodes with a hatchet.

GATHERING PASSIVES

Some species carry additive gathering passives that boost the final haul for matching resources once unlocked (usually at level 90):
